Lineage begins twenty years after Conflagration ends and follows the elf
Kayne as he searches for a magical talisman to enter the netherworld
and battle the demon Mar' Del. Kayne is visited by a mysterious man who claims that he has come to aid Kayne in rescuing his father. This is strange news for Kayne as his father had been slain twenty years earlier, almost nine months prior to his birth.
