MB's INTERVIEW
Thank you, Mrs. Hayes

I read book's description, I read the two excerpts from your blog: Please, tell me what is the significance of the title "In Dreams...."
The significance of the Pre title In Dreams... Is two fold. Firstly, it is the series name, but more importantly it is a driving force in the sub plot of the series. Amara Dagon my main Protagonist is plagued by nightmares, which the reader experiences throughout the tales. The dreams elude to things which have both passed and are to come.

Amara has the fire, you sent her in Ice - once again, what is the significance?
Truthfully? There isn't any, or at least there wasn't at first. Her destination was as randomly picked by her in the tale. For me it was the journey through a part of the world that she had never experienced. Her home, The Isle D'Corlen is Tropical, so after the experiences she has had the Artic lands seemed to fit her mood. Besides she had to meet the Raepuwa...

How different is Amara’s world from ours?
Amara's world is ours... Only it is 250.million years from now. Man blew himself up long ago, but the earth survived. She healed and recreated the species of man as well as others to dominate and thrive. In this "new world" the land has shifted due to Continental Drift and has formed a new Pangea settling closer to what was once the Artic Circle. Amara's journey takes her in this direction. Think Alaskan and Behring Strait environments. Vast Tundra to the North, then the southern most parts are High Tropics, like Chile and Southern Africa, with some Deciduous (Man-eating) Forests between vast mountainous Regions. Technology is scattered, divied by area. And need. Power is accomplished through renewable resources, Ie. Windmills, watersheds, solar... Some areas still equip themselves with bows and swords while others... Well you'll have to stick with the series to see just how far I take it... :)

I suspect that, in her exile, Amara will find (maybe once again) love. Do you agree with: When a door is closed, another one opens.” What does Amara think?
Well I'm a believer, Amara has never heard the adage. I'll have to ask her.... *Steps away.*.... She laughed at me. Her answer is as such... "Have you been paying attention at all? Every time I turn around something is thrown my way. I don't often know if it's an opportunity or a trap, but I'm willing to see how the wind blows." I suppose she agrees?

How free can be the language of an author in his own book? Who sets the limits? (yep, I read the warning :D )
Well the language in my book as to dialogue isn't too bad. Maybe one Fuck, and several bitches. But my work is labeled 17+ due to the explicit nature of the sexual content. I set my limits, if one is not into erotic work, suggestive dialogue, or graphic (insert imagination running wild) anything, my work is probably not the best idea. But if one is looking for richly painted new worlds, and both physically and emotionally heated scenes then I believe they need to look no further.

What is the greatest quality of your book?
The greatest quality? Hmm... The world its self. I took great strides to paint it as i see it in my mind. Bitterly cold and desolate one moment and full of color and life the next. It is to me the major player in the tale. Without the blinding snow and warm sun there would be nothing to truly challenge and push my characters. The themes which run throughout the tale are also largely influential. Topics like love, loss, and acceptance and tolerance are explored and put to the test often. I hope that these things will make people think, and perhaps talk to each other in more open forums one day.
About the author:
I am the Co-Author to Awakenings: The Wrath Saga, a paranormal drama likened to Big Brother meets The Real World, of the Preternatural.

I'm currently working on the sequels to In Dreams... Due for release in 2014.

I have a mind that is easily distracted and prone to wandering. Tangents are my forte, and if you think my characters are going to fit a cookie cutter shape of any kind, think again. They live, they love, they eat, sleep and fuck. I believe that people are inherently sexual creatures and my characters be they human or something all together else are no exception.

I don't adhere to a single genera, I toe the line on several and wouldn't presume to be a master of any. So I suppose you could call me jack-of-all-trade-paperbacks.

I am a truth seeker, in my life, in my work. I’d apologize for it, but I kinda can't help m’self. It's my best and worse personality trait, well mostly, being Bi-Polar I guess you could say that is the worse. But I believe that the disorder has made me, well... Me.

I have taken this life and twisted, carved, shaped and molded it in to the worlds of my characters. Albeit with a chainsaw, and it has made all the difference.
