Review and Giveaway: Marry Me for Money by Mia Kayla

REVIEW

Let's see ... we learned that nothing can get better if you marry someone for money ... well, nothing good for your soul. But what if it's not always like that?

Kayla Mia will show that sometimes marriage for money can be the key to happiness. She will put together several themes: leaving behind an unhappy past, marriage for money (obviously!), the possibility that a man and a woman can be just friends, what's good for us and what you "get" to love and I could continue the list, but I leave to you the opportunity to discover for yourself some of it. Important is that the author has entwined them in a good way and, adding humor, some tension, some tears, a bit of fondness (in the good sense and  in just the right amount), hope and despair, she obtained a sweet story in which love blossom where you do not want and you'd expect. A “stubborn” love which, even if it's rejected by both that are involved even as an idea, will flourish and provide the possibility of a HEA. It will provide the possibility of this HEA, but it will not guarantee its fulfillment because the nature and the baggage of those that are involved will intervene and, imaginatively manipulated by the author, will be the source of change of the course and story’s vitality.

An important aspect which brings a great addition to the story is that the characters are carefully built. There is an enough and inspired inlaid background that motivates and legitimizes the protagonists’ actions so that the reader don’t receive clichés, déjà vu, or "rolling eyes moments."

Regarding the unexpected denouement, it does not matter in a love story, because, let's be honest with ourselves, how we would want an end in which the protagonists do not stay together? Important in this case are the journey, the travelers and stopovers, and not the final destination.

Mia Kayla offers a good reading for an afternoon that you want to spend "for yourself" in the company of a book that, along with some subtle messages, is apt to make you daydream.
About the author:
Mia Kayla is a New Adult/Contemporary Romance writer who lives in Illinois.

On the weekdays, she can be caught wearing a suit, commuting to her corporate job in downtown Chicago and raising three beautiful munchkins in the suburbs, four if you count the husband.

In her free time she loves reading romance novels, jamming to boy bands, catching up on celebrity gossip and designing flowers for weddings.

Most of the time, she can be caught on the train with her nose in a book sporting a cheeky grin because the main characters finally get their happily-ever-after at the end.

She loves reading about happy endings but has more fun writing them.
