EXCERPT
Through the dark living room, Max saw Marina’s silhouette tiptoeing toward him with a blanket in one hand. She bent over, her face just inches away, and peered down at him.
“Need some lovin’ before you fall asleep?” he whispered.
Before he’d even finished his question, she jumped backwards with one hand covering her heart. “God, Max! You could have at least told me you were still awake. Geez!”
Chuckling, he extended an arm to her. “Sorry. Just curious as to what you were trying to do there.”
“I thought you might need another blanket, jerk,” she said, falling into his sprawled out body.
He quickly adjusted her so his legs cradled her soft body, mindful not to let her feet touch the gun hidden in his sock.
Marina pressed one thigh against his [...] deliberately as she slid up to kiss him. Slow and hard.
“Mmm…” He palmed her ass. Damn, she felt so good, tasted minty fresh.
“Good night,” she said, pushing herself off his chest, making her way back to her room ['..]
“What? Hey!”
Turning back to him, she grinned devilishly. “I only meant to come and give you an extra blanket. And kiss you good night.”
He groaned deep in his throat.
On the walk back to her room, she added an extra bounce in her step to make her hips sway. “Good night, Max.”
Sweet Jesus. He wanted to eat her up.
