Left Behind is not your usual young Adult Story. The author took on a heavy topic and handled it beautifully. Writing about the family members who deal with the after effects of mental illness in a romantic setting is not an easy thing to do. Miss Keeland made it look easy. This was a fantastic read!! I loved Nikki and I loved Zack even more. Their stories, both separate and together gripped me from page one. My heart broke for Zack and I felt for him the entire book. Ashley. Allie and Keller were such great secondary characters and kept things exciting. This was a great story and I found a new author to add to my favorite shelf in Vi!!- Goodreads
