he seems to be right...Talen (Dark Protectors #7.9) by Rebecca Zanetti

""You should never run from a Vampire…"
"Why not?"
"We can’t help but chase…"

Description:

Release Date: 6th of June, 2017

She’ll love him forever . . . but he can’t make her obey . . .

The war is over. Danger has passed. Cara Kayrs is healed after decades of illness and ready for a break.

Too bad her brooding, alpha vampire husband can’t seem to change gears. In their twenty-five years together Talen Kayrs has learned to sense every shiver of her body, to ignite her desire with a word or a look. She would think he could learn she’s not some fragile damsel in distress.

But Talen is on edge, watching their backs, treating her like she’s made of glass. Like there’s something following them, a deadly threat that somehow none of their intelligence has uncovered. It’s enough to drive a woman crazy, and Talen has plenty of those tendencies already.

But what’s even more maddening is that he seems to be right...

GUEST POST
TALEN and his crew

Hi there! I was asked my fancast for TALEN and his crew, and there are definitely some easy answers here. For the cast:

TALEN KAYRS: Jason Momoa has been cast as Talen since 2010, when I wrote FATED, which was Talen’s main book. We have Talen Thursdays on the FB fan page and the FB street team page, and we put up tons of pictures of Jason. So when you think of Talen, think Jason.

CARA KAYRS: I’ve always thought Cara would look like Emily Rose (from Haven. Great show, if you haven’t seen it yet). She’s blond with blue eyes and is very strong and highly intelligent. Probably empathic.

DAGE KAYRS: The King of the Realm has always looked like Gerard Butler in my mind. Dark hair, intelligent eyes, tightly muscled. You know. A vampire king.

EMMA KAYRS: Emma has black hair and blue eyes and is brilliant. I always thought a young Courtney Cox would make a good Emma.

TERRENT VILKS: T is an Alpha wolf, and he looks like it. Dark hair, dark eyes, big biceps. I always have pictures Joe Manganiello as Terrent.

MAGGIE VILKS: Maggie has curly dark hair and brown eyes. She’s a wolf shifter who’s a little clumsy but a lot of fun. Angelique Cabral would make a good actress for Maggie.

GARRETT KAYRS: Talen’s kid looks a lot like him. I have fans on FB who will put up a picture of Jason Momoa from his young Baywatch days and write, “Hey, look. I found Garrett.”

LOGAN KYLLWOOD: You know, Logan has dark hair, green eyes, and an old soul. I actually haven’t found a picture of him yet, to be honest. He’s just in my head. What about you? Do you have an ideal somebody in mind for a young, tough, handsome demon-vampire hybrid?

It’s a lot of fun casting real actors for characters in a book. Which actor do you think would make a fun hero or heroine in a paranormal style world?

I can't wait to read Talen. I love him in the Fated so I am so glad he got another book/story about them (Talen & Cara).
